She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Hurlburt and Etta Hurlburt (Humphrey); her husband Joseph F. Fernald; and her sister Blanche. She is survived by: her children, Deril M. Fernald of Plympton, Paul S. Fernald (Barbara) of Summertown, Joseph F. Fernald (Denise) of Bunnell and Diane L. Fernald of Unity, Maine; and her siblings, Millie, John and George. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
