He is survived by: his son Thomas L. Simmons; his grandchildren, Sarah May C. Macutkiewicz and Leavitt C. Simmons III; and his great grandchildren, Jennifer R. Macutkiewicz, Lucian C. Macutkiewicz and Leah C. Simmons.
