He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Silvia and Emily Silvia (Pontes); his wife Jeanette Louise (Nepini); his son Kevin J Silvia; and his siblings, Francis Silvia, Mary Conway and Dolores Silvia.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda J Hardy and Steven J. Silvia (Melissa); his sisters, Adeline Nascimento, Alice Harnois and Beatrice Vieira; his grandchildren, Bryan Silvia, Danielle Charbonneau (Hardy) and Gregory Silvia; and his great grandchildren, Avianna Silvia and Addison Charbonneau. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Gate of the Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trl, Riverside, RI 02915). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Cemetery (475 E Britannia St, Taunton, MA 02780).
