She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Brown and Peggy Brown. She is survived by: her sister Bette Childs of Oak Park, IL.; her nieces and nephews, Cathy McGovern (Mike), Bruce Childs (Ara), Sue Childs, Margaret Childs, Susan Chace (Anne Marie Corraro) of West Bridgewater, MA, Jonathan Chace (Ruth) of Marion, MA, Ferguson McNiel, Kathryn McNiel and Steven McNiel of Houston, TX; her goddaughter Wendy Guthrie of Lee, NH; her sisters-in-law, Cynthia MacNiel of Houston, TX and Barbara Chace of Fairhaven, MA; and her pet Muffy.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Eleanor can be made to the East Freetown Congregational-Christian Church where she was a long time member.
