She was predeceased by: her husband Frank A. Scholz; her daughter Stephanie Sherry; and her son-in-law Richard Gillespie. She is survived by: her children, David (Maureen) of McLean, VA, Johanna Gillespie of Shelby, NC and Cathryn Scholz of Lakeville, MA; her son-in-law Bill Sherry of West Haven, CT.; her grandchildren, Nathan Scholz (Sarah), Lauren Triebert, Kristen Gillespie (Rebecca), Randy Sherry (Kristen), Christopher Sherry and Rachael LeFrancois (PJ); and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Jake Triebert, Everett Gillespie and Teagan Sherry.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
