He was predeceased by: his parents, Melbourne L. Smith and Ruth O. Smith (Dickerman). He is survived by: his children, David, Boy Scout and Troop; his wife Alice; his children, Joshua D. Smith (Lauren) of Dunstable, MA, Daniel E. Smith (Jessica) of York, ME and Amy Riley (Timothy) of Attleboro, MA; his stepdaughters, Julie Radulov of Revere, MA and Sheryl Soundara of Lakeville, MA; his siblings, Donald Smith (Dawn) of Holbrook, MA and Judith Dowling (Michael) of North Smithfield, RI; his niece Andrea L. Viveiros; and his pets, Zeke and Gus. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
