He was also cherished by many cousins and friends.

“My Father was born in a farmhouse on Cross St 1925 and in the 1950s and 60s we would often drive by the Conway Farm one day my Dad stopped to talk to Art's Dad about a tractor and years latter I did the same with my Son to talk to Art with mechanical questions which he was always graceful in answering my questions. My Dad was a Diesel mechanic and when he passed I gave Art his Diesel repair shop manuals although he probably didn't need them he accepted gracefully, Rest in peace Art in Paradise”
