He was predeceased by: his daughter Christine Sampson of Plymouth. He is survived by: his wife Gail Holloway Burgess; and his children, Stanley Lee Burgess of Kingston, Patti Gunnarson of Marshfield, Nancy Pratt of Plymouth and Susan Stevenson of Marlborough. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
