With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Russell Murphy of Kingston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Russell Murphy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sheila Ann Murphy (Gallagher); his parents, Maurice Murphy and Margaret Murphy (Davis); his brother Maurice; his siblings-in-law, Thomas Gallagher and Renée Priggs; and his grandchildren, Cianan and Cecilia Murphy.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Murphy Jr. (Susannah Wurgler-Murphy) of Norwell, MA, Siobhan Murphy of Kingston, Brian Murphy (Silvia Murphy) of Norwell, MA and Stephen Murphy (Victoria Murphy) of North Haven, CT.; his grandchildren, Clare, Siobhan, Russell, Declan, Johanna, Cormac, Abigail and Julia Murphy; his sister-in-law Kathleen Murphy; his cousins, Pat Hultman and Terry Davis; and his friend Frank Dellorfano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and dear family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home (373 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Nativity (1 Kent St, Scituate, MA 02066).
