He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Armenian Nishan and Andrew Nishan; his former wife Joan Neary; his spouse Beverly Crowley (Parkinson); his daughter-in-law Sue; his sisters, Dickranouhi Doris Jafferian and Satenig Andrea Marchand (John); his sons, David Jafferian (Melody), Michael Jafferian (Linda) and Dean Jafferian (Sue); his stepchildren, William Neary (Donna), Amy Townsend (Jon), Shawn Neary (Kim) and Russ Neary (Mary Ellen); and his goddaughters, Kristin Solaras and Jill Hanny. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren and Five great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
