She was predeceased by: her parents, Rita Hassett (Calandrini) and Robert A. Hassett; her aunt Dora Calandrini; her husband John C. Veracka, Jr.; her sons, John C. Veracka III of Kingston and David A. Veracka of Kingston; and her brother Richard A. Hassett of Dorchester.
She is survived by: her daughter Leta Areski; her son-in-law Ihsane Areski; her grandchildren, Ayah Areski of Kingston and Sami Areski of Kingston; her siblings, Cecily Hassett-Salley (Tim) of Plymouth, Edie DiGiorgio (Bob) of North Reading and Robert A. Hassett of Vermont; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Veracka and Susan Veracka of Kingston. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
