He was predeceased by: his wife Althea C. Cushman (Hinchey); his son Leo Cushman; and his brother George W. Cushman. He is survived by: his children, Jean Marie Chaplic (Ralph) of Florida, John F. Cushman, Jr. (Toni) of Kingston, Daniel Cushman (Linda) of Kingston and Henry (Michelle); and his siblings, William Cushman, Robert Cushman, Alice Sirois and Mary Vincent. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
