With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William J. Whalen Jr. of Ipswich, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Sr. Whalen and Daisy Whalen (Springer). He is survived by: his wife Roberta Whalen (Romano); his children, Kevin (Jennifer) of Danvers, Mark (Stacy) of Wakefield and Tara O'Keefe (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Brendan, Emily, Trey, Paige, Cassidy and Austin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Vincent DePaul at Our Lady of Hope Parish in Ipswich.
