It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Lee Carter Grimes (Ipswich, Massachusetts), born in Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Carter and Helen Carter (Carmichael). She is survived by: her husband David Grimes of Masconomet Road; her children, Ross Grimes (Feny), Hilary Grimes (Alasdair Swan) of Salem and Madeline Grimes Sotande-Peters (Toks) of South Orange, NJ; her grandchildren, Cuillin Swan-Grimes, Angus Swan-Grimes and Adedayo Sotande-Peters; her brother Robin Carter (Kathy); and her proud Carmichael. She is also survived by relatives, and many nieces and nephews.
