He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ellis of Drinagh Ireland and Elizabeth Ellis (Sweetnam) of Dunbeacon Ireland; and his brother John "Bill" Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Jean (Weagle); his daughters, Elizabeth Barnes (Rusty) of Haverhill, Donna Fossa (Rick) of Beverly and Kimberly Grimes (Gary Grimes) of Gloucester; and his grandchildren, Stephen Barnes of Atkinson, NH, Erika Barnes of Haverhill, Hannah Grimes of Gloucester and Zachary Grimes of Gloucester. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
