He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard W. Lane and Hazel E. Lane (Brown); his former wife Judith McComiskey (Woodman); his friends, Hatchy and Ronnie; and his brothers, Robert, David, Richard and Wallace Lane (Sonny).
He is survived by: his wife Judi; his children, Wendy A. Viator (Ted) of Ipswich, Cindy DiZio (Jim) of Essex, Terri Lafferty (Eddie) of Gloucester and Timothy Lane (Robin Lundrigan) of Essex; his brother Mike Lane (Carole) of Topsfield; and his grandchildren, Ashley Viator of Ipswich, Dexter Viator of Dorchester, Cailey Lafferty of Wakefield, Paige Lafferty of Boulder, CO, Emma of Essex and Eve DiZio of Essex. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
