She was predeceased by: her brothers, Peter Shoares and Garry Shoares. She is survived by: her aunt Judy; her great-aunt Judy; her sisters, Gail Shoares Becker Covey and Joan Shoares Gray Finklea; her aunt Ruth Shoares Tuck; her grandchildren, Brian, Carina, Amanda, Amy and Emily; and her friend Cape Ann. She is also survived by her three children.
