He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann (Sklarz); and his parents, Arthur R. Martel and Irene Martel (Blanchard). He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Handley (Chuck), Marci Wile (Rande), Lori Martel and J. Scott Martel (Kathy); his grandchildren, Amanda Riddle, Colby Gorniewicz (Ashley), Cassie Cameron (Patrick), Ashley Roes (Katie), Caila Gorniewicz, Paige Proctor, Jaime Martel and Brooke Martel; his great grandchildren, Zoe Clarke, Blake Roes, Nolan James Gorniewicz and Emmet Roes; his sister Linda Mueller; and his close friends, Lucy and Beau.
