We bid farewell to Hugh Francis O'Flynn Jr. of Ipswich, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2025 at the age of 83. Hugh touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Francis O'Flynn Sr. and Hilda Joyce O'Flynn; his daughter-in-law Naoko; and his brother-in-law Malcolm. He is survived by: his wife Joan Odenbach; his sons, Hugh (Laura), Michael (Annie), Gardy (Claire) and Jon (Ali); his grandchildren, Hannah, Brigid (Jordan), Ciara (Charlie), Deirdre, Claire, Lucy, Joanie, Mikey, Declan, Aidan, Aubrey, Tess, Fiona and Macklin; his great grandchild Calvin Hugh Thibault; and his siblings, Margaret Joyce (Tom), Kathleen, William (Barbara) and Mark (Judy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home (45 N Main St, Ipswich, MA 01938). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Church (54 Linebrook Rd, Ipswich, MA 01938). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025.
