He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emilio J. Morrissette and Agnes Dupuis; his siblings, Doreanne and Everett; his wife Yvette Couture; and his children, Robert L. Morrissette of Three Rivers, MA and Christine Morrissette Shurtleff of Gainesville, FL.

“My condolences to the family at the death of a wonderfully talented and successful man. Not mentioned in his obit was the story of his clock repairing talent. Almost exactly 20 years ago I went to him in order to have my Seth Thomas clock rebuilt. He was 83 years old at the time! He rebuilt it and it is still going strong and he only charged me $70 for all that work. I decided at that time that I wanted to be just like this marvelous fellow. I've only got 10 years to go.
