She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Winiarz and Mary Winiarz (Dudek); and her husband Walter Lak, Jr.. She is survived by: her sister Christine; her brother-in-law Thomas Merigan, Jr. of Marshfield; her nephew Tom Merigan, III (Carolyn) of Hingham; her great-niece Lindsay Merigan; her great-nephew Tom Merigan IV; and her friends, Debbie Socha, Jaclyn Peloquin, Lynn Lak and Elaine Gravel.
