He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrille Patenaude and Bertha Patenaude (Grondalski); his daughters, Jane Boyce and Debra Carpanelli; and his sister Frances Freeland.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Patenaude (Beile); his sons, Walter (Mary Ann Patenaude) of Russell and James (Karen Patenaude) of Monson; his grandchildren, Adam Patenaude, Timothy Patenaude, Christopher Patenaude and Jenna Shumate; and his great grandchild Alexandria Patenaude.
