He was predeceased by : his former life partners, Lois M. Docherty Wilson (Drinkwater) and Marie Docherty (Settle); his son William A. Docherty; and his stepsons, Martin Roy and Arthur Roy.
He is survived by : his children, Kathleen L. Keane of Venice, FL, Patricia L. Ramsay of Henderson, NV and Charles F. Docherty, Jr. of Springfield, MA; his stepdaughter June Thresher of Hailey, ID; his grandchildren, Shannon, Darrell, Jennifer, Sean, Kevin, Katlyn, Kellie, Joshua, Elisabeth, Derek and Cody; and his stepgrandchildren, Sherry, Brandy, Raymond and Malina.
