He was predeceased by: his wife Maureen (Gleason); his parents, Lawrence C. Carr and Helen (Sulinski); his stepmother Jeanette Carr; his child Baby Ronnie; and his siblings, Lorraine Wilder (Arthur), Robert Carr (Cecelia) and Thelma Carr.

He is survived by: his children, Robert (Miriam) of Readville, Richard (Melanie) of Manchester, NH, Lawrence, Elaine Scaparatti of Hyde Park, Jeanne Moynihan (late Stephen) of Norwood, John (Lisa) of Dedham and James (Carol DeGiacomo) of Walpole; and his grandchildren, Christina, Jennifer, Amanda, Catherine, Ryan, Alyson, Chloe, Michael, Ariana, Brandon and Matthew. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
