He was predeceased by: his wife Diane M. McDonald (Cummings); his parents, Alphonse J. McDonald and Anna Marie Kane McDonald; his son Scott; and his brothers, Jack (John Joseph), Lawrence (Larry) and Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Jr. and Laurie; his brothers, Thomas (Ann), Kevin (Kathy) and Michael; and his grandchildren, Robert Michael and Samantha McDonald. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation with covid-19 guidelines will be held at the P. E. Murray - F. J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Monday, June 15th from 11am - 12noon.
