John F. O'Brien Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John F. O'Brien of Hyde Park, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, William, Jeremiah "Jerry", Barbara O'Brien and Margaret "Peg" Polvere. He is survived by: his wife Anne O'Brien (Barker); and his children, Zachary O'Brien, Brandon O'Brien (Joleigh) and Katharine O'Brien. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
