He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha (Royds); and his son Robert E. Grenier, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Margaret Demers of Quincy, Virginia Grenier Minasian (Kenneth) of Hyde Park, Carolyn Collins of Wrenthan and Patricia Fiore (Richard) of Norwell. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
