He was predeceased by: his wife Eloise Barbara Scott Barros; and his daughter Christine Gonsalves. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Barros of Ft. Myers, FL., Barbara Barros of Hyde Park and Myra Barros of Beaverton, OR.; and his grandchildren, Tyrone, Dorinda, Stephanie, Tamyria, Anthony, Angel, Shelby and Tre. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Baptista and Christine Gonsalves memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave. Boston, MA 02215.
