Richard left this world on October 23, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Isabelle A. Looney (Conway); his daughter Christine Newell; and his sisters, Marian Frazier, Marjorie Ray Hayes and Patricia Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Looney of Mashpee, Susan Keogh (Thomas) of Mansfield, Patricia Morizio of Hyannis and Richard Jr. (Kristine) of Goffstown, NH; and his grandchildren, Tara Paul (Max), Stephanie Newell (Alphonso Perez-Lopez), Michael Morizio (Megan Hawes), Patrick Keogh (Brenna), Jessica Brown (Ethan), Daniel Morizio (Kara Briggs), Molly Riley (Michael), Nicole Looney, Erin Hanlon (John) and Jenna Samrout (Wissam). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home (36 Trapelo Rd, Belmont, MA 02478). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Church (100 Concord Ave, Cambridge, MA 02138).
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in memory of Richard to the Disabled American Veterans or a charity of your choice.
