Lefteri left this world on October 8, 2024 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marco Karacalidis and Anastasia Karacalidis; his wife Alexandra Karacalidis; and his sons-in-law, George Makris and Theodore Mullin.

He is survived by: his children, Sophia Makris of Tucson, AZ, Marco Karacalidis of Wareham, MA and Mary Mullin of Centerville, MA; his grandson Nicolas Makris of Tucson, AZ; and his sons, Christopher Karacalidis (Kimberly) of Powder Springs, GA, John Karacalidis (Megan) of Walpole, MA, Anthony Makris (Kenzie) of Sandy, UT, Lucas Mullin of Fort Liberty, NC, Matthew Mullin (Sofia) of Washington, DC and Jason Mullin of Falmouth, MA. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
