It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Laura O'Connor of Hyannis, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Chester Z. Gemborys and John O'Connor; her son Gary Gemborys (Susan); her parents, Cleo Bettez and Laura Bettez; and her siblings, Paul Bettez (Loretta), Janet Lott and Marie Callahan.

She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Gemborys (Christine), Steven Gemborys (Priscilla Blake), Brian Gemborys (Rachel), Michael Gemborys (Joanne) and Karl Gemborys (Jean); and her siblings, Diane Raisanen (Jerry) and Robert Bettez (Jane). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
