It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose F. Resendes of Hyannis, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Jose's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Jose's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Resendes and Filomena Resendes (Freitas). He is survived by: his wife Maria Natalia Resendes (Monteiro) of Hyannis, MA.; his daughters, Amy Sarmiento (Alex) of West Boylston, MA and Christine Perna (Andrew) of West Boylston, MA; his grandsons, Vincent Sarmiento, Dante Sarmiento, Austin Perna and Bryce Perna; and his sister Maria Fatima Silveira (Luis) of Taunton, MA.. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home (50 Central St, Hudson, MA 01749).
