He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra J. Hill (Loomer); his parents, Irving Hill and Martha Hill (Hanscom); and his siblings, Donald L. Hill, Barbara MacPhee (Hill), George Hill, Charlotte Pezella (Hill) and Irving "Mickey" Hill.

He is survived by: his children, John J. Hill (Bryna) of Marstons Mills, Patrick R. Hill and Jillian; his siblings, Patricia Muniz (Hill) of Texas, Donald S. Hill of Kingston and Stephen Hill of Florida; and his grandson Roman X. Hill.
