He was predeceased by: his father George F. Lawton of Braintree; his stepmother Anne Marie Lawton of Braintree; his grandparents, George, Beatrice Hunt Lawton of Newport, Howard Rose and Myrtle Sparkes Rose of Braintree; and his uncle Edward Rose of Sandwich.
He is survived by: his mother Susan Rose Spurling; his stepfather Daniel Spurling of Sandwich; his siblings, Heidi Lawton-McCarthy (Michael) of Middleboro, Danielle Spurling Rose (Robert) of Plymouth and David Spurling (Jennifer) of Sandwich; his nieces, Noelle Preston (David) of Marion and Kristen Whitsett (Hunter) of Brookhaven, GA; and his nephew Erik Persson (Laura) of Stony Creek, NY. He is also survived by many grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to The American Heart Association.
