She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Donalson and Ella Mae Donalson (Marshall); her sons, Rufus Russ, III and Darrell Russ; her siblings, Dorothy Donalson, Jesse Donalson, Jr., Regina Ewing and Buster Donalson; and her pet Caine.

She is survived by: her husband Rufus Russ, Jr.; her daughter Katrina Scott (Michael) of Union, NJ; her grandchildren, Anthony Allen Russ of Hyannis, MA, Joslyn Lee Russ (Adolfo) of Pittsburg, PA, Tacara Rose Russ of Hyannis, MA and Skyla Russ of Hyannis, MA; her great grandchildren, Dwayne Elliott, Sa'Rai Elliott, Genesis Soto and Adolfo Soto, Jr.; and her grandchild Amya Russ.
