With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles F Gant of Huntington, Massachusetts, born in Akron, Iowa, who passed away on October 16, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Gant and Ella Gant (Lamoureux); his sister Mary Ellen; his son Francis; and his brother Donald Gant.
He is survived by: his former wife Margaret; his daughters, Dr. Elizabeth Fraser, Stephanie (Jeff) and Hilary Aubey (Jim); his grandchildren, Clayton, Charles, Grace Ellen and Samuel; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Corbyn and Charlotte; and his siblings, Gerald and Carol Baldes (Allan). He is also survived by many classmates, students, friends.
His three daughters request that memorial donations be made to The National Music Museum at USD, (NMMUSD.org with comment "Chuck Gant Memorial") or The United Way of the Pioneer Valley in Westfield, MA (uwpv.org) or the Public Radio Broadcasting Station of your choice.
