He is survived by: his children, Betty Ann Doherty (Wayne) of Whitman, Kathy Mitchell of Scituate and Jack Mitchell (Leigh) of Scituate; his sister Judith A. Toy of Fayettville, NC; his grandchildren, Julie Foster, Katie, Chris Rand, Jenna Gould, William, Brittany, Melissa Mitchell and Joseph Bradley; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Isla, Finley Rand, Austin, Brody, Ethan Gould and Camilla Irene Mitchell; and his friend Edie Brigham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
