James F. McLean Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James F. McLean of Hull, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid James farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For James is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Catherine Leonard-McLean; his sons, Clifford L. (Robin) of Dedham and Joseph J. (Julia) of West Roxbury; and his grandson Jack.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa Church.
