He was predeceased by: his brother Stephen R.; his parents, Samuel N. Dale and Pauline Dale (Koopetz); his stepmother Marion Myers Dale; and his stepbrother Jeffrey P. Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela J. Hilton; his children, Emily H. Dale (Michael J. Murphy) of Quincy and Jeffrey R. Dale (Ariadna G. Martinez) of Quincy; his sister Linda E. (late Steven R. Aronson) of Marina Bay; his stepsister Judith M. (Marc Shiner) of Wellington, FL.; his grandchildren, Lilith R. and Dorothy J. Murphy; his nephew Derek J.; his niece Pamela D. Aronson; his siblings, R. Michael, Elizabeth A. Pellegrini, Scott A., James D. and Eric P.; and his cousins, Robert Kaplan (Kathleen Mangione) of Natick and Rochelle (Alan Abrams) of Boynton Beach, FL. He is also survived by many other cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
