Coite and Alicia Coite; and his grandchildren, Alicia Anthony (Josh), Derek Locurto (Nikki) and Lynnette McLaughlin. He was also cherished by 5 great-grandchildren and 4 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David may be made to VA Boston Fisher House, 1400.
