He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Manuel, Anna Fernandes, Antonio and Ermelinda Figuerido; and his parents-in-law, Allan and Barbara Collins.

He is survived by: his wife Michele L. Fernandes (Collins); his son Noah B. Fernandes; his parents, Antonio Fernandes and Maria Fernandes (Figuerido); and his brother Mario Fernandes (Toni).
