He is survived by: his wife Maria Rosa Carvalho (Monteiro); his children, Elizabeth M. Carvalho of Shrewsbury, James M. Carvalho (Sandy Martins) of Shrewsbury, Dennis Carvalho (Renee) of Cary, N. C. and John M. Carvalho (Rebecca) of Yarmouthport, MA; his siblings, Jose Carvalho (Hartford) and Filomena Monteiro of São Paulo, Brazil; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Carvalho, Nicholas Carvalho, Rhiannah Carvalho of Shrewsbury and Ava Carvalho of Cary, N. C.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
