She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Waldo Gay and Gertrude Mills Gay; her brother Roger Earl Gay (Jeanne Courtemanche Gay) of Maynard; her niece Elisabeth Drury (Jay Drury) of Maynard; her nephew Christopher Earl Gay (Tracey Lyon) of Ayer; her great-nephews, Zachary Gay of Marlboro and Timothy Gay of Hudson; her brother Frank Gay of Florida; her former husband Charles De Merritt of Denver; and her niece Linda Gay Lewandowski of Bolton.
