It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Chaves (Hudson, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 8, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Antonio Chaves, Maria Inés Figueiredo and Leonor Cabral. He is survived by: his wife Maria Chaves (Sousa); his sons, Antonio S. Chaves (Zelia) of San Francisco, CA, John S. Chaves (Irina) of Walpole, MA, Daniel S. Chaves of Venice, FL, David S. Chaves (Liliana) of Hudson, MA and Joseph S. Chaves (Emily) of Stoneham, MA; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Daniel, Nicholas, Victoria, Chloe, Andrew and Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
