He was predeceased by: his sisters, Joan Noble and Barbara Champagne. He is survived by: his parents, Lewis Dohlen and Florence Von Dohlen (Watson); his wife Marie Von Dohlen (Toomey); his sons, George Von Dohlen, Jr. and Gerard Von Dohlen; his grandsons, Nicholas and Ryan; and his stepchildren, Gilbert Silva and Doris Cote. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.
