He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Horton and Evelyn Horton (McKenzie); his son Edward Horton; and his siblings, Albert Horton and Joan Pederson.
He is survived by: his wife LaRayne K. Horton (Johannes) of Hudson, MA.; his son Frederick W. Horton Jr. (Diana Dupuis) of Sterling, MA; his grandchildren, Shelby McGinn of Leominster, MA and Shania K. Horton of Clinton, MA; his great grandchildren, Nash Cassella and Paisley McGinn; his siblings, Eugene "Leroy" Horton (Cheryl) of New Hampshire and Dawna Valhos (late Alex Valhos) of Connecticut; and his daughter-in-law Kim Horton. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home (50 Central St, Hudson, MA 01749). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
