He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Puim of Fontes and Maria Jose of Moura Puim; and his brothers, Jose Fontes, Manuel Puim, Alfredo Puim, Angelo Puim, Victorino Puim, Joao Puim and Bernardino Puim.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Puim (Moreira); his children, Michael M. Puim (Mandy), Lisa M. Puim and Anna M. Baker (Peter); his sisters, Maria Chaves and Emilia Moura; his grandchildren, Michael Anthony Puim (Briana), Michelle Parsons (Richard), Kaitlyn Puim, Tania O'Dell (Jeremy), Nathan Baker and Matthew Baker; and his great grandchildren, Ritchie Parsons, Liam Parsons, Gracie Parsons, Charlotte Puim, Thomas Puim, Graham O'Dell and Mack O'Dell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
