With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alexandrina S. Fernandes of Hudson, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alexandrina left this world on January 22, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Abilio Fernandes; her parents, Antonio Dias Veiga and Florinda Silva; and her siblings, Antonio, Joaquina Silva and Teresa Matias.
She is survived by: her children, Lina Baptista (Adriano) of Framingham, MA, Candido Fernandes (Maria M.) of Hudson, MA and Antonino Fernandes (Carol) of Peabody, MA; her grandchildren, David, Mark, Claudia, Melissa, Michelle, Emily and Rachel; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Leo, Cecilia, Laila, Jack and Fernanda; and her sister Izilda Fernandes of Portugal. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home (50 Central St, Hudson, MA 01749). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Michael Church (21 Manning St, Hudson, MA 01749). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Saint Michael Cemetery (278 Cox St, Hudson, MA 01749).
