It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberto Chaves of Hudson, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Chaves and Filomena Chaves (Sousa); his daughter Gilda Maria Chaves; and his brothers, João Chaves, Guilherme Chaves, Antonio Chaves and Jose Chaves.
He is survived by: his wife Ermelinda Chaves (Rego); his sons, Norberto Chaves and Carlos Chaves; his siblings, Manuel Chaves, Guiomar Chaves, Helena Resendes of Canada and Maria Chaves Pacheco of California; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Sara Chaves of Canada and Mia Chaves of Hudson. He is also survived by many other family members, nephew and nieces.
