He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Dolan, Jr. and Pauline Dolan (Roberts). He is survived by: his wife Linda Dolan (Helsher); his children, Kaitlin Wester (Thomas) and David Dolan (Angela Sheppard); his grandsons, David and Daniel Wester; and his siblings, Brian Dolan and Mary Lou Lawrence.
